Amp Repairs
Our Amplifier repair department is open 10:00-16:00 Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri for collection and drop-off of equipment for repair. To avoid missing our technical team please ring in advance to discuss your needs and make an appointment.
Our service department provides a full diagnostic, repair and restoration service for vintage and modern guitar, bass and keyboard amplifiers, HiFi, PA and pro-audio equipment. We have vast experience of working on both valve and solid-state audio equipment.
We are located in Wallsend, North Tyneside, approximately 5 miles from Newcastle city centre, Gateshead and The Sage. We are conveniently situated for much of North East England, including Tyne and Wear, Teesside, County Durham and Northumberland.
We offer
- full valve-testing and matching
- a complete fault finding and repair service
- PAT electrical safety testing and certification
- amplifier upgrading to meet current safety standards
- valve and solid state amplifier servicing
- regular collections/delivery in the Newcastle area
Our Standard Valve Amplifier Service includes
- cleaning of all pots, valve bases and connectors
- re-soldering dry joints
- testing of all output valves
- any preventative maintenance required
- output power and PAT testing and certification where applicable
All work carried out is guaranteed for 3 months under normal usage.
Our fully equipped tool-room and machine shop allow us to re-manufacture virtually any otherwise unobtainable parts.
